1. Overview
This site is a reading surface with one form on it. This policy describes exactly what that means for your data — nothing here is boilerplate, and if the site's surface changes, this page changes with it.
2. Data you give us
The only personal data this site collects is what you type into the booking form: your name, email, an optional note, and the time you pick. That submission is sent to us as email (via Proton, an end-to-end-encrypted email provider) and lives in our inbox as correspondence. There is no database of visitors, and there are no user accounts. We do not sell personal data — there is nothing to sell.
3. Measurement
The site runs no analytics service and no tracking scripts. The one measurement it can make, when enabled, is an anonymous per-essay view tally — a single number per essay. No cookies are set for it, no IP addresses are stored, and no visitor profiles exist. Counts are shown rounded because they are approximate by design.
4. Third-party media
None. The iPod page and its embedded YouTube player were removed in August 2026. This site now loads nothing from a third party: no embeds, no players, no fonts or scripts from anyone else's server.
5. Third parties
The complete list of services that touch data: Proton (booking emails and calendar invites), our hosting provider (serves the pages and sees standard server logs), YouTube (media streams you start), and — when the view tally is enabled — a key-value store holding one integer per essay. That is the whole list.
6. Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you (it will be your booking email, if anything), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — we will, within 30 days.
7. Retention
Booking emails are kept as ordinary correspondence for as long as they are useful to the working relationship, then deleted.
